French Night at St. Mary’s

St Mary’s Council # 14129 Council will hold a special French dinner to honor the late Chef Paul and Marie-Antoinette Elbling. Longtime residents of Richmond’s probably dined at the renowned 5-star diamond restaurant La Petite France which the Elblings owned for 35 years. You may also have visited the French Food Festival at the Little Sisters of the Poor which the Elblings started.

The French Night dinner is Saturday May 18, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Parish Hall is located at 9505 Gayton Rd, Richmond, VA 23229. Doors open at 7:00 PM.

The menu that the Council Culinary Team will preparefor the event includes original Chef Paul recipes including: Salad Marie-Antoinette, Boeuf Bourguignon over egg noodles, Salmon Coulibiac with Lobster Cream Sauce, and Ratatouille. Desserts are almond cake and profiteroles. A champagne toast will be made to honor Chef Paul and Marie-Antoinette. Red and White French wine is included with the meal. 

As you can see this will be a dinner you don’t want to miss as it will be an entertaining night with the finest French food in Richmond. So, don’t hesitate to purchase tickets.
