On behalf of the entire membership of the Col. John Fitzgerald Division (VA #1) in Arlington, we would like to extend to you a formal electronic invitation to attend our upcoming annual Gaelic Mass. This year's Mass will be celebrated in honor of Saint Patrick on Monday, March 15 2021 at 7:30PM at the Cathedral of. St. Thomas More in Arlington, VA.

More details can be found in the attached flyer - please feel free to distribute widely to family, friends, and colleagues.

Given the ongoing situation with COVID-19, appropriate social distancing measures will be taken, which will preclude us from having the usual post-Mass reception and Irish dancing. However, after seeing the impact that the pandemic has had this past year on both Mass attendance and shared social & cultural experiences, our Division is more passionate than ever about still holding our Gaelic Mass to the fullest extent possible.
We are also investigating ways to livestream the Mass this year to those who cannot attend physically. This would allow perennial supporters and the elderly or sick to still join us virtually and hopefully opening up the experience of the Gaelic Mass to new participants within our shared AOH network around the world.

We have set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to solicit donations and financial support for the Mass, which has somewhat significant costs associated with it relative to typical attendance and collection receipts. The website has also been included on the updated flyer, and can be found here as well: https://www.gofundme.com/2021-aoh-gaelic-mass

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING IN PERSON...
