ST. ELIZABETH'S JAZZ FEST - SATURDAY 8/5 11a-8:30p

Speaking of Fr. Jim, the Jazz Festival is back at his St. Elizabeth's This is a big fundraiser for the parish which helps continue the great work of their ministries. Once again, his Dooley Division brothers have been called to pour the beer & wine at the beer truck. We'll get a Sign-Up Form on the website in July. More information in the link above.

"ON RAGLAND ROAD"

As promised (shared later than intended), we've got the tune that Division Historian Brian Hegarty was attempting to play fduring the Irish History lesson on poet Patrick Kavanagh last Tuesday evening. This version is from the late Luke Kelly of the Dubliners.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN NORTHERN IRELAND

And speaking of Irish history, highly recommend this 5-part documentary miniseries on "The Troubles" broadcasted on PBS. It had been shown over the past month, but can be accessed for free from the PBS app if you have a smart TV (or streamed on other devices). Great storytelling and plenty of vintage footage from the 70's and 80's.
