Past Presiden Scott Nugent had brain surgery this past Friday to remove a tumor just discovered after a seizure he had right before New Year's. Here is the first post-surgery dispatch.

This is Madeline Nugent, Scott’s oldest daughter. My Dad is doing well after brain surgery. He is improving as the doctor indicated he would. He would like to thank everyone for all the warm wishes and prayers. We will be returning to Richmond tomorrow (Tue 1/23) from Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC. I will be staying with him until February 2nd to help with his recovery. If anyone has any questions, feel free to reach out to me at madnugent15@gmail.com!
